Government Building is Stronger Than Ever

In a fairly dismal building market, government building is   offering a glimmer of light. According to the Census Bureau, governments are on track to spend a  record $300 billion this year on projects like schools, roads, bridges and various other buildings.  Government projects now generate more spending than construction of residential homes and apartments.

With an unprecedented level of government green initiatives, governments are turning to builders like SIPS Inc. who build with products like Platinum Technology™, that are more sustainable, energy efficient and environmentally friendly.

SIPS, Inc. has already begun construction on two municipal buildings in Manatee County, and plans are underway for several more. The city of St. Petersburg will be using Platinum for a municipal shelter, and is considering Platinum for several more of their future building plans.

Platinum is proud to provide a product that not only helps the environment, but helps builders set themselves above the    competition, and stay afloat in an otherwise challenging market.

The value of the green building market is
expected to reach $60 BILLION by the year 2010
